Art

     Kindergarten children attend a weekly art class for 40 minutes.  The curriculum followed ties literature with art and introduces children to new techniques and media.  They also learn about artists and art movements.

Library
     Kindergarten children go to the library weekly.  Kindergarten children may select one book to sign out during each library class.  Children may get a new library book each week as long as they return the book that was previously checked out.

Music
     Kindergarten children attend a weekly music class for 40 minutes. They begin to learn the basics of rhythm, song, and dance through music geared towards kindergarten children.

Physical Education
     Kindergarten children attend a weekly physical education class for 40 minutes. They work on basic coordination and exercise skills while having fun in a game environment.

Character Education

     Kindergarten children attend a weekly character education class for 30 minutes.  In this class, they discuss character traits such as citizenship, responsibility, respect, and friendship.

Chinese

     Kindergarten children have Chinese class every other day that lasts for 40 minutes.  In Chinese they learn basic Chinese words, characters, and songs.

Spanish

    Kindergarten children have Spanish class every other day that lasts for 40 minutes.   In Spanish the learn basic Spanish words and songs.
