Welcome to Kindergarten at Young Scholars of Central Pennsylvania Charter School

     We would like to welcome you to Young Scholars of Central Pennsylvania Charter School and our kindergarten program.  Kindergarten is a very exciting time for children and their families!   We understand that the first year in a child's school experience can be filled with excitement, anticipation, and nervousness. We have created this website to aid you through the kindergarten experience.  This website provides general information about our kindergarten program.

     We are a full day kindergarten program that offers both academic and social development. We believe that children entering kindergarten need time and activities to develop academic and social skills such as friendships and cooperative interaction skills;  all of which will help to prepare them for success in their futures.  Children must be five years old prior to August 31 to be eligible to enroll for kindergarten that academic school year.
